With an open mind, our surroundings are filled with influences from which to seek inspiration for a fashion collection. Some brands look to upcoming movies and music, other to architecture, reports from trend bureau’s or something else for inspiration. Because of our passion for protecting all the beautiful places on the planet, it is only natural that we, VILDNIS, find inspiration in countries with stunning scenery and a commitment to making the world a better place, socially and environmentally. Chile – the inspiration behind our AW18 collection

Can you believe how amazing this summer has been weather-wise? I just want it to continue forever, yet at the same time I am excited about the temperature dropping and the seasons changing; it is my cue to pack the summer clothes away and dust off my winter wardrobe. Even though I have had some of the items in my wardrobe for more than 10 (yes, ten!) years, I still get excited about reuniting with them after 6 months apart. California - the inspiration behind our SU18 collection

If you love fashion, I am sure you will have felt that surge of excitement when a new season lands in stores. The excitement level is equally high - if not higher - when we start designing a new collection, and this SU18 season was extraordinary with California being our main source of inspiration. In the past, California has been primarily associated with the Gold Rush, the California Dream (getting rich and famous fast), Hollywood glamour, pastel colours and long stretches of palm tree lined beach.
